Thanks Barbara Garvey for this post.  The local commercial makers can learn from this.  Going no where but the grave.  We need more people like you in the film industry!  
You can’t expect to be thought of as a professional if you continue to make newbie mistakes. “Action” is not the same as “Progress.” If you aren’t moving forward, you’re not only just treading water— you are probably falling farther and farther behind. Learn to see through the hype, make intelligent and informed decisions.
